This cabin project has been approved by the municipality and is currently under construction in 2025.

One challenge with this site was that the sea view faced north. Ideally, the best scenario is when the optimal view coincides with the southern orientation; however, this is not always the case. The clients desired large glazed areas facing the view. Consequently, we placed very few windows towards the south, as this direction also faced neighbours and a road – a logical decision from that perspective. However, we ensured that terraces were positioned to the south and introduced an additional storey that captures the sun more easily, due to its higher elevation. In this way, the terraces enjoy good sun conditions, whilst the cabin is shielded from the view of the road and neighbours. The plan form is governed by the specific sightlines from each of the cabin's main functions. The angled volumes are designed to achieve a specific orientation, tailored to this site.
